About the work :

HO-NO is a painting by Spanish contemporary artist Ramon Enrich.

In these paintings, the artist establishes a conversation between architecture and landscape in a figurative work boasting geometric shapes and an enigmatic atmosphere. The landscapes and the simplicity of the forms (near abstract) make for a very theatrical view of architecture. Losing yourself in these landscapes, Ramon Enrich takes you on a journey that's more psychological than physical.

For this painting, the artist creates a landscape characterized by a few houses and plants. The desert and calm atmosphere confers a certain mystery to the painting. The range of colors is limited to pastel colors mainly. Neither natural landscape, nor urban landscape, figurative but tending towards abstract, this contemporary acrylic painting outlines an in-between in which the artist's work and his unique vision of contemporary painting are fully anchored.

This original piece of contemporary artwork is signed, sold unframed and comes complete with certificate of authenticity.

Ramon Enrich has been exhibiting his work all around the world for nearly 25 years. The artist regularly takes part in international art shows and fairs in other parts of Europe (Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Spain) and in the USA (New York and Los Angeles). Today the artist’s work can be seen in several public collections (European museums and American foundations) as well as the private collections of artists David Hockney and Donald Judd or even architect Norman Foster.
