About the work :

Landscape of Tokyo – Koishikawakorakuen IIis a painting by Franco-Japanese contemporary artist Lumi Mizutani. This small format painting depicts some a typically Japanese landscape, most precisely the garden of Koishikawa Korakuen, located in the north of the imperial gardens.

In her figurative paintings, the artist frequently pays tribute to Japan and its traditional landscapes, particularly those of Higashiyama-ku in Kyoto, also Ueno in Tokyo. Plum trees, Cherry trees, weeping willows…  trees and nature play a very important part in the artist's work. The artist sublimates her artwork with the use of gold, copper or silver leaves.

This artwork is sold framed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
